I have dealt with acne, on my face, for a LONG time, and it seems like it’s never ending.  However, I have to be grateful that my acne condition is not severe by any means, but enough to drive me NUTS.

Acne is described as “plugged pres, pimples, and even deeper lumps that occur on the face, neck, chest, back, shoulders and even the upper arms.*”

I have different types of acne on my face: i.e. whiteheads, blackheads, and papules, so I have tried many different products Click Here!.

If you are not familiar with the types of acne here are some information (What’s That Zit?):

1) Whiteheads happen when the pore is completely blocked; so the bump is formed with oil, bacteria, and dead skin cells (three amigos).
2) Blackheads happen when the pore is partially blocked so the three amigos partially drain on to the surface of skin.
3) Papules happen when the zit is inflamed, tender and red with no head – it’s quite painful to the touch.

I have tried regular soap and water, Sea Breeze, Biore Strips, Neutrogena, Noxzema, Oxy Cleaner, Phisoderm, Stridex, Proactive, and Arbonne.

These products works, to a degree, but it does not completely clear up my skin – there’s always some white heads on my face; especially under my eyes.

Here are some myths of acne:

1) Washing face more often will clear up your skin — I only wash my face twice a day
2) Stress causes acne – who doesn’t have stress these days; give me a break!
3) Chocolate and other greasy (fatty foods) cause acne – alright, I love McDonalds.
4) Masturbation or sex causes acne – who has time these days; especially with three children running around the house all day and night!
5) Sun or tanning will help get rid of acne – I don’t like sun!
6) Popping zits will help them go away faster – you got me; I love popping my zits and it’s a sickness I have!
7) Diet and acne are related – Nope, I love food too much for this torture!

Thank goodness these are only myths because if not I would be in trouble!

Check out online web sources and acne treatment centers to see full description, pictures, and remedies (like zit popping) to eliminate zits properly.
