Cool . Its good that we get this kind of item in web

Read this review with the knowledge that our little one has not yet come along, so this is a review written on our limited experience thus far!
We purchased two of these strip covers for our entertainment area where cords are readily accessible. We are confident that our son will not be able to disassemble these for quite some time – and once he has that sort of dexterity, he’ll be old enough to understand not to stick his fingers in outlets. The locking mechanisms are effective in keeping it closed while in little, curious hands.
As per the reviews that say the opening on top is wide enough for little hands to enter, they’re absolutely correct (my hands will almost fit inside so baby hands slip in without a problem). However, we covered unused outlets on the cord with the simple plastic covers and then put these on. No safety precaution can be 100% – but between the individual outlets being covered and the whole strip being covered, we feel confident our little guy will not be able to out-smart the entire contraption before we see what he’s trying to do and intervene.
My only complaint is that more color options weren’t available. There is absolutely not a single piece of white anything in our entire living room so these stand out like sore thumbs. But that’s the price we pay to keep our kids safe!

The product is, overall, pretty good. It’s easy to disassemble/reassemble, and appears to be made of a sturdy material. My ONLY complaint is: I’d have liked it to have been at least 1 inch if not 2 inches longer. Several of our surge protectors just barely fit inside at the longest extension, and a couple lacked about an inch of getting the two halves to touch. However, they are still doing the trick and keeping our big kitten from stepping on the toggle switch, turning the surge protectors off.
I do recommend this item. I had seen a similar one in a catalog for almost [...] each; for the minor inconvenience of needing to be a tad bigger, I can easily live with it for the lower price!

I originally purchased a Mommy’s Helper Power Strip Safety Cover. After not being completely satisfied, I decided to try out this Safety 1st Power Strip Cover when I needed to purchase additional covers. This cover wins out over the Mommy’s Helper cover. The closure tabs on the Mommy’s Helper don’t snap very securely, but this cover has buttons on either side that must be pressed together to open the cover. It’s also more sturdy and seems like it will hold up longer.
A great feature you will get with this cover is it is expandable to be as long or as short as your power strip. This is really nice for small power strips. You won’t have a huge cover taking up extra room.
This cover is also wide enough to fit the new plugs that are turned sideways.

This is the best power strip cover I have found. We tried the Mommy’s Helper cover but it doesn’t shut very securely and doesn’t fit some larger plugs.
