The internet has changed modern life for the better, most would argue. It has created a more unified global society, making communication much easier for those who are at long distances from one another. Just E stuff alone has also changed the way that we are able to shop, and the way that we search for information. While only a couple of decades ago you had to devote hours to errands, now these same errand can all be completed online quickly and easily, with e-shopping, e-banking, and emailing loved ones.

This has also helped foster healthy competition in between businesses, because there is such an unlimited supply out there for consumers to choose from. No matter what you might be looking for on the internet, chances are that just e stuff covers it. Even if it’s simply pieces of information, such as access to all of the newspapers in the world, you have it there at your fingertips. This has created consumers who are more aware of what’s going on in the world, and also in their own backyards. Because anyone who wishes to may have their own website, the communication possibilities for the public have exploded.

Critics may point out that all of this just E stuff has created a society with shorter attention spans, who expect to have constant links to click on to spoon-feed them all of their information, but the media in general has been going down that road for quite some time. The younger generation that has now grown up with the internet in the classroom is quite technologically-savvy and well-informed, shaping the awareness of an entire age group. Social networking has allowed classmates to stay in touch with one another at all times and gain access to new friendship from across the world.

It will be exciting to see where just E stuff will go in the future, with so many scientists and individuals alike trying to perfect new, more precise methods of communication. The simple act of email is no longer enough for many. As a result, there have been new advancements in the capabilities of sending audio and video messages, for example. Many are able to send and receive these electronic messages from their phones or other handheld electronic devices, changing the way that we do business and making sure that everyone is in touch with another at all times.

This all happened quickly, but no one would argue that the world has certainly changed.
